Agent: 'Dimitar Berbatov wants Fulham exit'
The agent of Dimitar
Berbatov has claimed that the striker wants to leave Fulham in January.
The 32-year-old, who is
out of contract in the summer, has scored two goals in 12 games for the
Cottagers so far this season.
Emil Danchev has now
revealed that the Bulgarian is keen to leave the club just days after manager
Martin Jol was sacked and replaced by Rene Meulensteen.
"I don't usually
speculate as nobody knows what will happen in January but what I can tell you
is he is not happy at Fulham," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"He would like, if possible, to find another option.
"I cannot comment
(on whether there has been any approach) but the priority is to find a solution
to stay in England."
Berbatov joined Fulham
from Manchester United in August 2012.
