Spain top FIFA rankings for sixth year
Spain finish 2013 top of FIFA's world rankings, the sixth-straight year in which they have ended at the summit of the table.
The current world and European champions have been ranked No. 1 by
world football's governing body since 2008, when they lifted the Henri
Delaunay Trophy for the second time in Vienna.
La Furia Roja followed that success by winning their first ever World Cup in 2010 and defending their continental crown in Kiev last year.
Germany remain second in the rankings, ahead of South American pair Argentina and Colombia. Portugal and Uruguay -- who both needed to overcome playoffs to qualify for next year's World Cup finals in Brazil -- stay fifth and sixth respectively.
The 2014 hosts stay 10th, behind Italy, Switzerland and Netherlands.
England (13th) and the U.S. (14th) also stay put in a top 18 which is unchanged following just 30 international matches played over the last month.
Bosnia-Herzegovina, who will play in their first World Cup finals next year, shifted up two places to 19th, bumping France (20th) and Mexico (21st) down one place each.
